The Korvenn Super Lift 920 foil is ideal for wingfoiling in light and medium wind and for surfing small to medium waves. With its front wing of 1800cm² It offers great versatility in wing as in surf and sup foil, but also for pumping. Today available with a 65cm or 75cm mast, it is perfect to start wing, sup and surf foiling and it remains very progressive since it is also aimed at good level riders. We were among the first on the market to offer Sup foil boards, and our first prototypes came out more than 3 years ago, our experience has allowed us to place reinforcements in areas of high constraints to offer boards reliable, efficient, with an optimal weight / volume ratio. For information, the boards weigh approximately 6.5 kg for 80 liters, 7.5 kg for 100 liters and 8.5 kg for 130 liters.

Wing skateboarding is a great way to get started with winging. Requiring little wind (less than 10 knots), wing skate allows you to understand the handling of the wing, and to practice transitions.

Your foil requires special attention, especially regarding the risk of corrosion on the screws.
Presumably, the risk of corrosion is low, since many foils have aluminum parts and the hardware is made of stainless steel, but this is completely false. These metals have different electrical potentials, and when in contact with conductive water, the metal with the lowest potential (here aluminum) becomes anode, while the metal with the highest potential (the screws stainless steel) becomes cathode, resulting in accelerated galvanic corrosion.
Galvanic corrosion has the effect of welding the screw to its thread, making disassembly of the foil impossible...

Wing foil is a booming discipline, but is the wing a recent or an old concept? It is quite easy to officially date the appearance of the first wing, since in 1982 a patent was filed under the name of “bird sail”.

Its inventor, Roland Le Bail, a French man from the town of Carnac , developed the first wings made up of a rigid frame, and whose profile is extremely close to current wings: the shape of the arched leading edge, the dihedral , the hollow of the sail clearly recall the current forms of wings.

Speed is essential to achieve a smooth 360 °. you have to start like a jibe, while keeping the wing close to you. Remember to tilt the wing while raising your rear hand to prevent the wing from dragging too much in the water. Many people wonder what wind strength we can hope to sail with a wing foil. Several parameters have to be taken : the rider’s weight, his technical level, the equipment used and the water conditions.

Obviously the lighter a practitioner, the sooner he will be able to take off, but you still need to have good technique and suitable equipment. If you want to exploit light winds, it is imperative to use a board on which you are floating when stationary. To know what volume allows you to float, take your weight (in kgs) and add about 15 to this value, you will get the volume needed in liters to stand on a board when stopped (for example for a practitioner of 85 Kgs , 100 Liters will be required)...
